He randomly tried to murder an entire white family. They have set him free 3 times now.

On December 7, 2015, Logan Dean Tipton was attacked in his sleep at his home in the small town of Versailles, Kentucky. Ronald Exantus had driven overnight from Indiana, and chose Logan's home at random. He walked in with a large knife, went upstairs to Logan's room, and started stabbing the 6-year-old in the head and neck. Logan's agonized screams woke his sister, who tried to protect him. She was stabbed and nearly died. Their father came and fought the attacker, suffering injuries, but eventually managing to subdue Exantus. But it was too late to save Logan, whose neck was partly severed in the frenzied assault. According to his father, "he just kind of glanced up at me, closed his eyes, and that was it. He died in my arms."

The suspect was charged with murder and assault, but was found not guilty of murder by reason of insanity. He was convicted on assault charges and sentenced in 2016 to 20 years' imprisonment. However, due to 'good behavior,' his sentence was cut by more than half, and he was released in October of 2025.

Due to parole violations, he was re-arrested in November of 2025. But Kentucky authorities did not re-impose his full sentence, and instead chose to release him again on July 29th of 2026. He remains free.  He got away with it. Because, in America, white lives don't matter.
