Data centers DO NOT NEED WATER.  So, why steal all the water per data center, that an entire state uses? 

To ration water to the population and make water a scarce commodity. Data centers are  just burning through the water, for no reason. But now, you can't take a shower or use water from the tap, because it turns black and brown and smells like chemicals. Now what do you do?

You ration water and pay for water - if they could charge for air they would figure out a way to do it. That's part of it.

But WHERE is all that water really going to and for what reason?
